Open access to research publications is becoming more and more important for researchers as different initiatives and funders introduce measures to encourage the ‘openness’ to research outputs. The new Horizon Europe funding program is also applying mandatory Open Access to the programme publications. The COST Academy will organize an introductory webinar presented by cOAlition S to raise awareness of the COST Action participants on open access, the different types of open access, and the main principles that cOAlition S funders are applying to ensure Open Access to the research they fund.
