NexusNet presented the work of its taskforce at the conference. Our esteemed member, Dimitris Kofinas, showcased our innovative methodologies and exceptional outcomes during the Nexus session, which focused on the implications of extreme events.
This workshop enhanced both technical and policy-oriented research skills pertinent to Nexus topics. Participants acquired valuable insights and practical guidelines for the effective integration of Nexus approaches into their case studies, thereby augmenting the impact and rigor of their research.
NexusNet Grant Holder Assistant Professor Giannis Adamos delivered a keynote address, highlighting the recent accomplishments of the NexusNet Cost Action in the efficient planning of the Water-Energy-Food-Ecosystem (WEFE) Nexus during extreme events.

Cost Action’s NexusNet’s Workshop, Co-creation and Sustainability on the NexusNet EXCELLENTIA mentoring program held at Thessaloniki, Greece on 23-24 September. This exclusive workshop was hosted by Assistan Professor Giannis Adamos, the NexusNet Grant Holder Manager, Department of Civil Engineering and the Transport Engineering Laboratory (TEL) at the premises of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. The event spanned two days and focused on insights, innovation, and collaboration concerning the Water-Energy-Food Nexus.
