Dresden Nexus Conference – Nexus Implementation: Potential and Opportunities, 5-6 November- On-Line Workshop
This workshop enhanced both technical and policy-oriented research skills pertinent to Nexus topics. Participants acquired valuable insights and practical guidelines for the effective integration of Nexus approaches into their case studies, thereby augmenting the impact and rigor of their research.

Primary Topics and Objectives
- Selection of Case Studies: The workshop explored methodologies for the selection and design of case studies relevant to Nexus research concerning various environmental resources, including water, energy, food, climate, ecosystems, soil, materials, and space.
- Data Integration: The challenges associated with accessing and integrating data from various sources to improve the reliability of research findings were examined.
- Stakeholder Involvement: This section addressed the criteria for selecting stakeholders and securing their commitment to facilitate meaningful and impactful research collaborations.
- The Application of Practical Tools: The utilization of practical tools and knowledge obtained from real-world applications to enhance the rigor of case study research was assessed.
Professor Chrysi Laspidou, the Chair of the NexusNet Cost Action, along with the other co-organizers, welcomed the participants by delivering introductory remarks.
An exceptionally knowledgeable audience of Nexus experts was in attendance, facilitating numerous engaging discussions on the primary working themes of the NexusNet Cost Action.
