On 29 November 2022 – 14.00 – 16.00 CET, a webinar entitled “The nexus in education and career development”, organized by the Norwegian University of Life Sciences, will be held virtually. The Nexus Project Cluster and the COST Action ‘NEXUSNET’  (https://www.cost.eu/actions/CA20138/) aim to strengthen the nexus concept in education at high-school and university. First steps are made in 2022 and the objective of the webinar is to share examples to adopt the nexus in education and training. Examples include: (i) Capacity building and curriculum development project in Africa, including nexus curriculum development with 8 universities in Uganda, Ethiopia, South Sudan, Kenya, Rwanda, Ghana, and Kenya. The project is funded by the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs through NORAD/NORHED-II program https://www.norad.no/en/front/funding/norhed/; and (ii) SMARTEN (Serious Games for Digital Readiness of Water Education), Erasmus+ project that includes curriculum development based on SIM4NEXUS.
