NexusNet presented the work of its taskforce at the conference. Our esteemed member, Dimitris Kofinas, showcased our innovative methodologies and exceptional outcomes during the Nexus session, which focused on the implications of extreme events.

This workshop enhanced both technical and policy-oriented research skills pertinent to Nexus topics. Participants acquired valuable insights and practical guidelines for the effective integration of Nexus approaches into their case studies, thereby augmenting the impact and rigor of their research.

NexusNet Grant Holder Assistant Professor Giannis Adamos delivered a keynote address, highlighting the recent accomplishments of the NexusNet Cost Action in the efficient planning of the Water-Energy-Food-Ecosystem (WEFE) Nexus during extreme events.

An exclusive two-day workshop focused on the Water-Energy-Food Nexus was recently conducted at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. The event was organized by Assistant Professor Giannis Adamos, the NexusNet Grant Holder Manager, and convened experts and stakeholders to explore innovative strategies, exchange insights, and foster collaboration within this vital interdisciplinary domain.
