NexusNet COST Action successfully organized a Special Session at the 12th International Conference on Environmental Management, Engineering, Planning, and Economics (CEMEPE 2025) on Tuesday, May 27, 2025, held on the Island of Mykonos, Greece.

On April 9, 2025, members of NexusNet’s COST Action conducted an interactive workshop entitled Practices in WEF+ Nexus: Showcasing Impactful Projects at the DNC2025 conference in Dresden.

NexusNet presented the work of its taskforce at the conference. Our esteemed member, Dimitris Kofinas, showcased our innovative methodologies and exceptional outcomes during the Nexus session, which focused on the implications of extreme events.

This workshop enhanced both technical and policy-oriented research skills pertinent to Nexus topics. Participants acquired valuable insights and practical guidelines for the effective integration of Nexus approaches into their case studies, thereby augmenting the impact and rigor of their research.

NexusNet Grant Holder Assistant Professor Giannis Adamos delivered a keynote address, highlighting the recent accomplishments of the NexusNet Cost Action in the efficient planning of the Water-Energy-Food-Ecosystem (WEFE) Nexus during extreme events.

An exclusive two-day workshop focused on the Water-Energy-Food Nexus was recently conducted at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. The event was organized by Assistant Professor Giannis Adamos, the NexusNet Grant Holder Manager, and convened experts and stakeholders to explore innovative strategies, exchange insights, and foster collaboration within this vital interdisciplinary domain.

This enlightening exploration of Climate Resilient Management within the Water, Energy, Food, and Ecosystems (WEFE) sectors was convened by the Scientific Institute for Leadership and Action (SILA) and thoughtfully organized by Vladimir Kitanovski at the scenic Lake Ohrid.

NexusNet proudly hosted the Regional Stakeholders Forum on Resource Recovery and Reuse within the context of the Water-Energy-Food Nexus for a Low-Carbon Economy at the Chajn National Water Conservation Awareness Centre in Rabat.
